Leather Belts

If you’ve bought belts from a store in Europe, the UK, or North America, there’s a decent chance one of them started life in a workshop like ours. At Pace Global Trade, we cut, edge, paint, and stitch leather belts in Pakistan for importers, private-label brands, uniform suppliers, and retailers. The brand name on the tag is yours. The work behind it is ours.
We keep the whole process in-house: hides from local tanneries, cutting and finishing in our own facility, and quality checks before we seal every carton. That control lets us maintain steady quality across repeat orders while still quoting a fair price.
Below you’ll find what we make, from men’s belts to ladies’ belts, the leather grades we work with, and how ordering works with us: MOQs, sampling, lead times, and inspection. If you need something not listed, ask. Most of our best-selling styles began as a customer’s sketch.
Why buy from Pace Global Trade?
Leather is one of Pakistan’s oldest export trades, and we grew up inside it. The country processes large numbers of cattle, buffalo, goat, and sheep hides every year; that means we source finished leather locally instead of waiting on imported stock, and you get shorter lead times and steadier prices.
Our supply chain draws on the main leather centres:
- Kasur and Karachi, where many of the tanneries we buy cowhide and buffalo leather from are based.
- Sialkot, known worldwide for leather goods and export discipline.
- Lahore, home to a deep pool of skilled belt and small leather goods craftsmen.
Much of belt making is still hand work: edge painting, burnishing, stitching, and buckle fitting. Our team does it carefully, and at a cost that European factories can’t match. On small and mid-sized runs, we’re often more competitive than larger Asian producers too.
We’re also flexible. We take orders of a few hundred pieces per design, so new brands and boutique retailers can work with us without committing to a full container.
The leather grades we work with
“Leather” on a price list can mean very different things, so we always state the grade on every quotation we send. Here’s what we offer and where each one fits.
| Grade | What it is | Best for | Price level |
| Full grain | Outer layer of the hide with its natural surface intact | Premium dress and casual belts, heritage ranges | Highest |
| Top grain | Outer layer, lightly sanded and finished for an even look | Mid to upper retail, fashion belts | High |
| Genuine/split leather | Lower layer of the hide, usually coated or embossed | Budget retail, promotional lines | Medium |
| Bonded leather | Leather fibres bound with resin | Low-price and giveaway items | Lowest |
Our full-grain leather belt is the product most of our long-term customers build their range around. It keeps the natural grain, so every strap has its own character, and it softens and darkens with use rather than cracking. We use vegetable-tanned and chrome-tanned full-grain cowhide, plus buffalo hide for thicker, rugged straps.
Vegetable-tanned leather is firmer and develops a rich patina, ideal for casual and western styles. Chrome-tanned leather is softer and holds even, bright colours, which suits dress and fashion belts. We’re happy to send both so you can compare them in hand.
Every sample we ship comes with a cut cross-section of the strap. You can see for yourself that you’re getting solid hide, not a split layer glued to a backing.
The Pace Global Trade men’s belts range
Men’s belts are the backbone of our production. Men tend to rebuy the same style again and again, giving our customers reliable reorders and giving us long production runs we know inside and out. We make leather belts for men in four main groups.
Dress belts
Narrow straps, 30 to 35 mm wide, with a smooth finish and a polished frame buckle. Our men’s black leather belt is the item we reorder most for clients, because it works with suits, uniforms, and formal shoes. Every black leather belt we make is dyed through, with painted or burnished edges, so a scratch won’t reveal pale leather underneath.
Casual belts
Wider at 38 to 40 mm, with visible stitching, a thicker strap, and a brushed or antique buckle. This is where our brown belts do well. We offer the men’s brown belt in tan, cognac, and dark chocolate, cut from full-grain leather that gains character with wear. We make a men’s black belt in the same casual cut too, since most retailers stock one of each.
Men’s western belts
Our men’s western belts go mainly to US buyers and to stores serving rodeo, country, and workwear customers. We do hand tooling and embossing on vegetable-tanned leather, tapered ends, ranger-style buckle sets with loops and tips, and conchos or contrast lacing on request.
Ratchet and track belts

Demand for the ratchet belt men’s style keeps growing. There are no holes; a hidden track on the back lets the buckle lock at small steps, around 6 mm apart. Retailers like it because one size can be trimmed to fit many waists, which cuts down on size-run stock. We test every ratchet buckle’s latch before packing, because a weak lock is the most common complaint with cheaper versions.
Whatever the style, we match the leather, edge finish, and hardware to your price point. Our men’s leather belts never pair a premium strap with a cheap buckle, or the other way round.
Our leather belts for women
Women’s collections move faster than men’s. A new season usually means new colours, new widths and smaller quantities per design, and we’ve set up our line to handle that. We accept lower per-style MOQs on ladies’ belts than on standard men’s styles.
Skinny and waist belts
Narrow straps from 15 to 25 mm, worn over dresses, blouses and coats. We stock a wide colour card: nude, red, white, metallic and animal prints alongside black and brown. A slim women’s belt with a small gold or silver buckle is one of the easiest pieces our clients sell, across every age group.
Women’s belts for jeans
Our women’s belts for jeans run from 30 to 38 mm, with a sturdier strap and a clean buckle. Distressed browns, washed blacks and double-ring closures are the current favourites. Because these share leather and edge finishing with our men’s casual line, we can often offer them at a better price.
Women’s western belt
Our women’s western belt styles sell strongly in the US and increasingly in Europe. We make them with tooled floral patterns, studs, conchos, and wide decorative buckles, usually in tan or whiskey shades. The visible handwork means better margins for you than plain styles.
Statement and corset belts
Wide belts with oversized buckles or lacing, worn as a feature piece. We recommend small runs for these, since they follow trends closely.
Many of our retail clients tell us that leather belts for women and ladies belts sell best as add-ons, placed next to denim and dresses or bundled online. We can pack them to suit either approach.
Buckles and hardware we supply

The buckle is the first thing a customer looks at and the part most likely to fail, so we treat it as seriously as the leather.
We make every buckle belt in our range with one of these closures:
- Frame or prong buckle. The classic, durable choice for everything from dress to western.
- Plate buckle. A flat front plate that hooks into the strap, popular for logo branding and western designs.
- Automatic or ratchet buckle. Used on our track belts, with a lever that grips the strap’s hidden teeth.
- Double ring and D-ring. Common on women’s and casual styles, with no holes needed.
- Interchangeable buckles. Fitted with screws or snaps so one strap can take several buckles.
We work in zinc alloy for mid-range belts, since it plates cleanly. For heritage and full grain lines, we recommend solid brass, which won’t snap and ages well. Stainless steel is our choice for uniform and workwear orders.
Want your logo on the buckle? We produce custom-cast buckles. They need a mould and carry their own minimum quantity, which we’ll quote upfront.
Colours, finishes and sizes we offer
Black and brown make up most of our leather belts output, but shade matters. Send us physical swatches or Pantone references, and we’ll match them, rather than guessing what “dark brown” means to you.
Our finishes include smooth, pull-up (oily leather that lightens when flexed), crazy horse, saffiano, croc and lizard embossing, and hand-antiqued effects. Edges can be painted, burnished, or turned and stitched.
Our standard specifications are below. We can adjust any of them for your order.
| Specification | What we offer |
| Strap width | 15–25 mm (women’s fashion), 30–35 mm (dress), 38–40 mm (casual/western) |
| Strap thickness | 28–46 in waist, or S to XXL; big and tall up to 54 in |
| Hole spacing | 5 holes, about 1 in apart |
| Length tolerance | ±0.5 in |
| Hardware | Zinc alloy, brass or stainless steel |
Sizing trips up end customers, so we label belts consistently: measured from the buckle fold to the middle hole, sized roughly 2 inches above trouser waist size. We print this on the swing tag, which helps keep your returns down.
How ordering works with Pace Global Trade
We keep the process simple and transparent, from first enquiry to delivery.
- Send your enquiry. Share designs, sizes, leather grade, colours, buckle type, and target price. A rough sketch with measurements is enough to start.
- Get our quotation. We quote a price per piece at your quantity, usually FOB Karachi or Lahore, and list exactly what’s included: packing, tags, and logo embossing.
- Approve samples. We make samples in 7 to 15 days. The sample fee is credited against your first bulk order.
- Confirm and pay the deposit. Once samples are approved, we usually take 30 to 50 percent upfront by bank transfer, with the balance before shipment.
- Production. Bulk orders typically take 30 to 60 days, depending on quantity and custom hardware. We’ll flag the Eid holidays early so they don’t catch your schedule off guard.
- Inspection and shipping. You’re welcome to book a pre-shipment inspection. We ship by sea for larger orders and by air courier for smaller or urgent ones.
MOQs and private label
Our minimum is usually 100 to 300 pieces per design, and we can go lower on extra colours of the same style. Private label is a large part of our work: embossed or debossed logos on the strap, branded buckles, custom swing tags, belt boxes and barcoded polybags.
Our quality control
We agree quality standards with you in writing before production, then check every order against them:
- Leather grade matches the approved sample, confirmed with a cut edge
- Colour is consistent across the batch and between strap and edge paint
- Stitching is straight, tight, and at the agreed stitches per inch
- Holes are clean, evenly spaced, and properly reinforced
- Buckles are firmly fixed, plating is even, and ratchet mechanisms lock every time
- Lengths fall within tolerance
- No strong chemical smell, and compliance with your market’s limits on restricted substances such as chromium VI and azo dyes
Why buyers choose Pace Global Trade
The cheapest quote often hides a split leather strap or thin plating. We’d rather earn your repeat orders. Here’s what you get when you work with us:
- Leather sourced from tanneries we know, with grade and colour controlled from the start
- Export experience with buyers in Europe, the UK and North America, and references on request
- A cut sample with every quotation, so you can see the leather cross-section
- Men’s belts and ladies’ belts from one supplier, in one consolidated shipment
- Custom buckles, logo embossing and branded packaging handled in-house
- Restricted-substance testing arranged for your market
- Open doors for third-party inspection before shipment
- Clear, quick answers to technical questions, from sampling through to delivery
A small trial order is the safest start. Try a mixed carton of our best-sellers: a men’s black leather belt, a men’s brown belt in full grain, one ratchet style, and a couple of women’s belts for jeans. See how they sell with your customers, then scale up with confidence.
Our own hides, skilled hand finishing, and a willingness to work with buyers of every size. That’s what Pace Global Trade offers. Send us your designs or a list of the styles you’re after, and we’ll come back with samples and a clear quote for leather belts made to your specification.
